Training courses about our water protection tools
During spring 2020 and 2021, WAMBAF Tool Box have held training courses about our water protection tools. Because of the pandemic, the training courses were arranged as webinars in almost all project countries.
In total, almost 500 people participated in different training courses.
− We had a lot of participants and they came from many different organisations, which was great, says Eeva-Liisa Jorri, responsible for the training courses.
Because of the pandemic, the training courses were arranged as webinars in almost all project countries. Under the circumstances, webinars were the best way to tell people about the water protection tools.
− Of course, webinars are not as interactive as training courses in the field, but nowadays webinars have chat possibilities and some online questions. And it was an effective way to talk about the project and provide new practical information about water protection, says Eeva-Liisa Jorri.
− The overall goals of the activity were fulfilled. And based on the feedback, the webinars were successful, says Eeva-Liisa Jorri.
