Postponed statistics on roundwood prices

The planned release of statistics on roundwood prices in August is postponed to October. This is due to a new inquiry on roundwood prices initiated by the Swedish Forest Agency during this spring. Additional time for gathering of data and analysis is required before publishing the statistics.

The purpose of the new survey is to publish more comprehensive price statistics. The new gathering began in the spring and the is that gathering data for additional quarter is required to ensure the quality of the statistics further and to give more time to the recipients of the enquiry, since it’s a new data collection.

The old statistics were discontinued with the publication of the first quarter of 2025. It will not be updated further.

The new statistics will be published on October 21st referring to the 1st and 2nd quarter of 2025.
