The reported volume of roundwood for energy purposes as of December 31 was approximately 1 125,000 cubic metres. Please note that the volume only represents the companies included in the Swedish Forest Agency's survey, i.e. larger forest industry companies, pulp industries, sawmills, and purchasing organizations.
The collection of data regarding roundwood for energy purposes began in 2024. The increase compared with the same period last year can be attributed to several companies not responding at that time. Comparisons between years should therefore be interpreted with caution. Although these figures do not yet meet the quality standards required for inclusion in official statistics, we have chosen to publish them due to their public interest.
