International Contractual Services

The Swedish Forest Agency can provide a wide range of forestry services within its field of competence and also offer relevant backup.

The Swedish Forest Agency has a highly trained and well experienced staff.

Within the Swedish Forest Agency there are foresters who have long-term working experience from developing countries such as Burkina Faso, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, India, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Nepal, Tanzania, Vietnam and Zambia.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the Forestry Administration (Swedish Forest Agency) has carried out several consultancy projects in countries such as Armenia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovak Republic, etc.

Some recent projects are Russian-Swedish Forest Sector Cooperation Programme, Support to the forest reform programme in Ukraine, Forest Resource Management in Northwest Russia, Training of Forestry Extension Workers in Estonia and Latvia, and Inventories of Key Habitats in Latvia and Russia.

The Swedish Forest Agency can undertake consultancy work in the fields of:
