Forest Industry Production
The total production of the Swedish forest products industry during 2011 was as follows:
16.6 million m

(preliminary figures) sawn goods of coniferous
11.9 million metric tons’ wood pulp, of which 7.4 million was sulphate pulp, 3.6 million mechanical pulp, 0.6 million sulphite pulp and 0.3 million semi-chemical pulp
3.7 million metric tons’ market pulp (i.e. for sale to other producers)
11.3 million metric tons’ paper and paperboard, of which 2.1 million was newsprint, 3.3 million fine printing and writing paper, and 5.8 million other types of paper and paperboard
