He/she gives individually aimed professional advice to the forest owner as well as general information in forestry- and silviculture matters. The officer also verifies that legal regulations are followed.
Related tasks are e. g. to carry out training-courses as well as information activities to the public and in school as well as forest inventories e. g. about game damage and mapping of high conservation value forests.

Specialists in various forestry-related subjects
Our specialists support the organization to secure a legally uniform and correct application and in keeping in touch with the latest knowledge in the forestry field. This is done e. g. through giving consulting service, contributing in courses and conferences, evaluations and inventories of wood production and conservation values, analysis on a national level and international work.
Qualifications: Most of our specialists have post-graduate university level educations in forestry, biology, ecology, geology and behavioral science. Several years work-experience is desired.
Computer and GIS-specialists
Computer services and the development and application of new programs are of growing importance.
