The aim of this project has been to increase the knowledge about the forest by facilitating the teaching and improving the learning about it in schools.
Focus has been on pedagogy and on the forests roll in a sustainable society due to its economical, ecological, social and cultural values. Cooperation between pedagogues and forest experts has been very important. The teachers need to improve their knowledge about forests and the forest experts need to improve their pedagogical skills.
